Hand Operated Toggle Press are manually operated bench-top presses. Like all toggle presses the press force is generated with manual force applied to the lever, which starts up the transmission mechanism. The specialty of the toggle press is that while the long hand lever remains constant, the smaller lever is shortened during the press stroke so that at the end of the stroke the manual force applied generates a large amount of press force.
